MY HEART'S CONTENT
EMPATHETIC LEADERSHIP
AT WORK AND IN LIFE
I believe that empathy is the ocean we all swim in.
My Coaching mission is to support empathetic leaders to show up as their whole, radiant selves in their workplace and
transform themselves and their surrounding from the inside out -

and to guide those who haven't yet discovered their empathetic superpower of leadership but would like to, on their journey
to consciously awakening it.

MY VOCATION
THE COACH
As a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), I am trained according to the statutes of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), with additional specialization in "Nonviolent Communication/ NVS" © according to Marshall B. Rosenberg, Clean Space©, Narrative Coaching according to Dr. David Drake, and trauma-sensitive coaching.

As a passionate HR Executive, I have been coaching and mentoring individuals and groups at all specialist and management levels in the international high-tech industry since 1997. Supporting professional leadership development and personal growth has been an innate part of my HR role from the very beginning. It is keeping me connected to the reality of corporate life, along with all its opportunities and challenges.

MY IDENTITY
THE HERITAGE
As the firstborn daughter of Greek immigrants, I came to Germany with my parents shortly after my birth in 1971.

My childhood was marked by long, hot summer vacations by the sea, a strong sense of family, diligence, discipline, duty - and the early experience of being given far too much responsibility for a child to carry. My nervous system was conditioned for survival early on. And still, or because of that, I am infinitely grateful for everything my parents and life have offered and made possible for me. It made me who I am today. It shaped my values of inner and outer leadership, of Coaching, and my appreciation of the importance of being empathetic to everyone's personal story that we know so little about.

With my family's traumatic transgenerational heritage in my genes, the concepts of home and identity are very important to me to this day. But not in the conventional sense. Growing up between two worlds and cultures means being rooted in both and yet never feeling completely at home in either. A Greek proverb sums it up nicely: "In a foreign country, I am Greek, and in Greece, I am a foreigner."
What sounds like dramatic conflict, I see as gift of choice and freedom: to me, home is not a place, a passport, or a border. Home is the feeling that I associate with the presence of and the connection to people, blood relatives or not, who are dear to my heart - my coachees and clients included.

BEYOND THE FOAM
THE EMPATH'S LOST INNER VOICE
The fairy tale “The Little Mermaid” has always fascinated me. She gave up her voice, her home, and ultimately her life—for a love she didn't even realize she had. To me, she is the very embodiment of empathy: she immerses herself in the depths of others' needs, forgetting her own in the process.

But here comes the twist: This story doesn’t have to end in silence or self-sacrifice. What if the mermaid had found her voice and her love? What if she had learned to dive deep into her own soul?

My coaching is meant to be a safe haven for mermaids and mermen. For those who feel too much or too little and sometimes lose themselves in the process. Their empathy—whether they live it out excessively or suppress it—is not a burden. It is a gift. The world needs their depth, their leadership, their unique example, and their human magic, without demanding that they disappear into someone else’s story.

This is the ending I wish for them: That they embrace more conscious leadership and honor their intuition just as passionately as their empathy and compassion for others. That they walk their personal and professional paths with the same depth they offer—or wish to offer—to others—and that they emerge from it strengthened rather than weakened. That in exercising leadership, they do not have to choose between their heart and their inner authority to be their authentic, powerful, and self-assured selves.

Let’s rewrite the story. Your voice matters. Your leadership matters.
Empathy is the current that carries us and the people around us home to ourselves.
